Westco Grounds Maintenance, LLC is pleased to announce the promotion of Brad Palermo to Director of Operations and Technology.

Shortly after moving to Texas with his family in 1996, Brad started working in the landscape industry by mowing lawns on the weekends throughout high school. During the summer months, he worked on the Westco crews to further his knowledge of the landscape industry.  Brad then started and operated his own landscape company while he worked toward his bachelor’s degree in business administration.

In 2005, Brad sold his business and joined the Westco team as a superintendent, and he moved into the Enhancement Manager position by March of 2008.  His strengths became apparent as he served as Westco’s IT manager and facilitated technical support and training to Westco employees. Throughout this time, Brad consistently demonstrated an ability to adjust and prioritize the business systems to keep pace with a rapidly growing business.  Within a few years, he continued to gain knowledge and expanded his experience to estimating, planning, scheduling, performance improvement, operations strategy, and sales. In 2010, he transitioned into his position as Westco’s Business Development Manager, establishing great rapport with key clients and property management companies.

Brad and his wife, Lindsay, got married in 2009 and are raising 3 beautiful kids. Outside of work, Brad enjoys spending time at a family farm in Shiner, Texas; cooking;  traveling; and home improvement projects.

Throughout his career at Westco, Brad showed impressive work ethic by dedicating personal time toward implementing new systems and  training for technical and maintenance operations. His organization skills and forward thinking stand out amongst the qualities that have driven his success, and his work ethic and dedication greatly align with his new position as Director of Operations and Technology.
